Let's hope there's more good than bad in the NEXT decade.

Another Nigerian Terrorist? UPDATED

UPDATED: The airline is now claiming that the passenger was "just sick". Ummmm no matter how sick I am on a flight, I would open the door and let the pilot/attendants know I am sick. Add to it the fact that this guy was on the SAME FLIGHT as the Christmas Day Terrorist and also from Nigeria. And oddly enough he had not one bag with him on a trip all he way from Nigeria????? Me smells another test run.

"Metro Airport spokesman John Witner said there was a report of suspicious activity on the Delta/Northwest flight 253 from Amsterdam Sunday. That is the same flight number as the flight that a Nigerian man was suspected of attempting to blow up over Detroit on Christmas Day.

All 257 passengers and 12 crew have deplaned safely, said Delta spokeswoman Susan Elliott. The flight landed safely in Detroit at 12:34 p.m. Sunday.

The flight crew requested that law enforcement meet the aircraft after a passenger on the plane became verbally disruptive, said Elliott.

The Associated Press reported that the incident lead to the arrest of a Nigerian man, who is now in custody."

Apparently this man locked himself in the bathroom for an hour.

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., identified the suspect as Abdul Mudallad, a Nigerian. King said the flight began in Nigeria and went through Amsterdam en route to Detroit.

A senior U.S. counterterror official says Mudallad was planning to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253 carrying 278 passengers, but the explosive device failed. Mudallad reportedly ignited powder attached to his leg and was severely burned in the incident..."

Shame he didn't succeed in blowing HIMSELF up.

One failed, but nearly successful, terrorist attack on an American airliner over US soil.

I got a little misty eyed today. Positively verklempt actually.

Mom and I decided to go to Target for some last minute fun. It was nutso being Christmas Eve, but we were not in a hurry so who the heck cares right? We got what we wanted and as we left the packed parking lot and approached a light, the car in front of me slowed way down and stopped. I almost let loose with my stereotypical slew of obscenities when I noticed the young girl driving the car had her arm out and was passing something to the homeless man on the center divide. It was a bag of dog food and a little squeaky dog toy and it looked like also a bit of cash.

The homeless man had a little dirty dog with him, just sitting on his foot. I stopped too and handed him some cash. But the whole thing just touched me. These girls were clearly in their very early 20's and I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder when it comes to "kids" these days. But this restored a bit of my faith. Not only in today's youth but in America's future. I hope there are more like these kids out there.

Wow so many died this year, this one is shocking. A heart attack at 32???? RIP Brittany.

Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was 32.

It is reported that a call went out to 911 from her Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center."

I find this story so morally reprehensible I can barely stand to read an article on it.

Let me sum it up. Barack Obama's "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings is the founder of GLSEN. (That stands for Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network.) In 2000 and 2001 his group hosted a seminar at Tufts University in which children as young as 14 were given fisting kits and taught how to properly fist their friends.

Let me repeat, this was done by the same group founded by the man who is now our SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR. Kevin Jennings, who also hosted a talk with children about whether or not spitting or swallowing was "rude", is our "SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR".

"Kits of plastic gloves intended for “fisting” or oral sex were distributed at Planned Parenthood’s table in the lobby.

Public funds were used for the event with at least two school buses being used to transport students....

Look it's this simple: Not all the Muslims in the world are terrorists, but a vast majority of terrorists are Muslims.

After 9/11 one cannot help but make sure to keep all Muslims in view at all times while flying. I even have a t-shirt I like to wear while flying that says: I am watching YOU! So when a bunch of Muslims get on a plane, start talking loudly in Arabic, acting odd, using cell phones and walking about the cabin when they've been directed to stay seated it get's your attention. We've seen it before.

1) If they were harmless,if this was just a "customer service issue", then why did they delay the flight for over 2 hours and return only a few of the men to the plane. Two of them never re-boarding.

2) Who were the calls made to or received from.

3) What mosque do they attend?

4) Ties with radical organizations?

5) Purpose of travel?

While these things may seem a bit over the top, after Ft. Hood, 9/11 etc. I think the time for embracing our Muslim Brothers and Sisters are over. If they would like Sharia Law, the go back to the Middle East. If they want to hang out with non-infidels, then feel free to return to the country of origin. But we can no longer afford to take the politically correct route and I think the people of this country deserve more information and more scrutiny in the face of an enemy like no other we have seen before.

I see these coordinated plane trips as one thing and one thing only, a test. They are testing us to see how far they can go, how hard they can push before we lash out. Instead of looking at men like these we still have Grandma going to secondary inspection all in the name of PCBS.

I was writing my Christmas cards last night and had the TV on as background sound, so I wasn't really paying attention to what channel it was on. When I finished the cards, I looked up to see Jesse Ventura meeting with some faceless private eye in some backwoods Alaskan town. My interest piqued, I watched the show for a while.

1) The couple, Tareq Salahi and his wife Michaele, claim "that they were invited to the bash by a Washington law firm with ties to a senior Pentagon official."

2) According to The White House and the Secret Service, the Salahis who "managed to access the White House grounds via the Southeast Gate, enter through the East Wing and be photographed both with President Obama and the prime minister of India." Did all of that "without holding a formal invitation or having their names on the official guest list for the Obama administration’s first state dinner."

One of them is lying. The fact is, two civilian nut jobs managed to not only get INTO The White House itself, but get within inches of the Prime Minister of India, the President, the Vice President and many other dignitaries. The White House can tell us as many times as it wants that they are "working on it" and that the White House and all there were safe, but I for one am not buying it. THIS is UNPRECEDENTED.
