Armed Men At San Jose Airport
Holy crap on a stick. This ABSOLUTELY MADE MY ASS PUCKER.
"Just before 3 p.m. Saturday, a white Chevy Blazer pulled up to the arrival curb outside Terminal A at Mineta San Jose International Airport. Two men dressed in black parked the SUV, switched on its hazard lights and approached the information desk to inquire about American Airlines Flight 1205 from Dallas. Both carried assault rifles strapped across their chests, with handguns in their holsters.Turns out the men were there to escort some scientist dude to his lab. But HOLY HELL. They just kinda didn't give a fuck these armed men showed up and did nothing while they were there. I was just AT that airport a few weeks ago and they touched me in my special places to make sure I wasn't packing heat and they let these guys just CHILL OUT with assault rifles???
A volunteer at the desk politely told them the plane was due at 3:02 p.m. And another volunteer asked one of the armed men, "Are you one of the people who ride on the plane" looking for terrorists? "No," he replied.
Then the pair casually waited near the escalator that ferries travelers to the luggage carousels.
It appears that airport travelers that day either figured the pair's mission was benign, or perhaps thought they were part of a ninja movie. San Jose police said they received no calls inquiring about the men with rifles."

Nine years later and it feels like just yesterday hijackers took over 4 jet planes and used them as weapons of mass destruction to kill my countrymen.
9 years later and watching a Budweiser commercial with some Clydesdale's bowing to NYC has me blubbering like a baby. And watching any kind of 9/11 video, especially the ones with people screaming in the back ground OH MY GAWD!!!! still has the ability to render me a rage filled angry American who'd like nothing better than to slap the nearest Jihadi hard, multiple times, while kicking him in the cajones.
I have never, will never and can never forget. Nor will I ever, can I ever, FORGIVE.
9 years later, still under the MISGUIDED impression that we will ever win the hearts and minds of the cult of death responsible for killing 2,996 human beings in one swift blow. The idiocy of it overwhelms me.
I sat yesterday and watched as Muslims protested the THOUGHT, the POSSIBILITY of 50 people burning a couple of Korans in Florida and watched how my entire country bent over backward to assure them that it was a BAD THING. The Muslims of course promising MORE DEATH and MORE DESTRUCTION to those who DARE to insult them. I did not, have not, nor do I ever expect to see tens of thousands of Muslims march through the streets calling for the death of the Islamic jihadi's who everyday continue their pursuit of a 9/11 times a thousand.
9/11 9 years later and we have become total pussies.

Burning The Koran
If you haven't heard, there is a 50-member church called the Dove World Outreach Center from Gainesville, Fla. headed by pastor Terry Jones that has decided for some reason to hold a Koran burning party on 9/11.
My opinion a couple months ago when this first came out and now remain the same. I do not hold to book burning and it seems like a very stupid way to piss off the enemy. I mean these are the same people who killed 17 people and injured countless others over a FAKE Koran "toilet flushing" story. This is going to make them apoplectic.
That being said, they have EVERY RIGHT to do so. The fact that General Petraeus has come out and made a comment on this bothers me. Why is the US Military getting involved in a civil issue? It's not a hate crime, it's freedom of speech. Petraeus may be right, but this is unusual at best.
AND, Pastor Jones has a point,"We must send a clear message to the radical element of Islam. We will no longer be controlled and dominated by their fears and threats." Here we are 9 years after 9/11 and we are cowering in the shadow of Islam. If all it takes is 50 whack jobs at some church burning some books to piss them off then we have a bigger problem than 50 whack jobs burning books. Much bigger.
