I have to stop myself sometimes and just ask IS THIS SHIT FOR REAL????? When I realize that it is indeed real, it makes me want to projectile vomit.
Let me summarize..."African-Americans" applied for firefighting jobs in Chicago. They failed the test. So they were not given the jobs. So far so good right?
But, because they are black, they should have been hired anyway. Because they are black. Not because they could do the job or passed the test..etc etc.
So because they are black and failed to get the jobs because they...FAILED, they are now going to:
Get a check for $5,000.
Get a job.
Get back pay.
Get back pension payments for those who will now be given jobs because they failed.
And 111 of them will now get to be firefighters, because they are black.
Or all of the above
