The Sandy Hook Victims

I keep seeing memorials and candlelight vigils for 26 victims, but correct me if I am wrong, there were 27 victims of Adam Lanza. Right? Did he not shoot his mother in the face 4 times? Does that NOT make her an victim of his rampage?

By all accounts Nancy Lanza loved those kids at Sandy Hook and volunteered her time there to be with them. She knew she had a troubled son and was doing what she could to get him the help he needed, no doubt she had no idea he was a mass murderer waiting to explode.

Nancy Lanza was a VICTIM and she should be remembered.
