Conspiracy Theorists And 9/11

Lately I have spent some time in the trenches confronting and dealing with the lies and outright slander from insane asshat conspiracy theorists and have put together a list. Please, if you are an asshat conspiracy theorist... comment away, I'd love to hear your take.

1)If the government is behind 9/11..... which government? The Bush administration was only in office less than 9 months at the time of the attacks, so it wasn't them, not nearly enough time to put together such an operation.

2)What would our government have to gain by this? Factor in the cost of 9/11. To the markets, everything. Insurance, employment.... the cost is astronomical Al Quaida, and Osama are in Afghanistan, and that's where we went. Then figure in the cost of the war in Iraq.... which is still on, I assure you...... we are talking Billions upon BILLIONS of dollars, no amount of oil we can get from Iraq will ever make up for that. Nor can we be assured that Iraq would have to cancel all contracts it already has, to France, Germany, Russia and more... so it's not like this war was actually for oil. So, again, I ask you... what do WE as a country have to gain?


3)There is video evidence that there was no explosives. The two French brothers who were doing a documentary on Firefighters captured compelling video of the inside of the towers that horrible morning. From the video, you can clearly see debris falling from above, WAY above, and at no time, even as the buildings fell, is there any explosion from the ground, or any where near the ground.

4)There are well over 250 documented eyewitnesses to the plane flying into the Pentagon, that's 250 separate people that saw it. Not to mention the bits of airplane you see, and the fact that the hole was about Boeing 757 size (a Boeing, I have learned, is 13 feet in diameter, the hole was 16 or so feet). How can you claim it was a missile?

5)Why would Osama Bin Laden claim to have orchestrated the attacks, surely you do not believe that Clinton hired him to plot these attacks.

I could go on and on.... but let's get some answers to these. Bring it on punks.
