Letters to the editor

I love writing letters to editors. Anywhere. Why? I love seeing my name in print.

Here's one I wrote tonight.

I was disturbed by the hypocrisy of the article written by Brady Combs on 4/12, regarding the arrest of a man for burning a Mexican flag.

Most notably, the one sentence:"Warden said the charges are a direct result of political pressure from the Mexican Consulate."

Beg Pardon? Would the Mexican Consulate please address the 12+ million criminal lawbreakers who live here? The multitudes of drug runners they do not see fit to stop from crossing our overly generous borders?

Would the Mexican Consulate please contact Vicente Fox, and ask him why they only have two classes in Mexico; Rich and destitute?

I for one, as a law abiding, tax paying AMERICAN, get really, really tired of Mexico, TELLING us how to run our country.

If this man broke the law, then arrest him. But I failed to see one arrest of any of the illegal aliens burning American flags. I failed to see one arrest of an illegal alien, here, breaking the law. Marching on the streets.

Am I alone in my confusion?
