Hmmm..... WMD destruction found (To me it makes no difference, I wanted the 1992 job finished, and my plan included dropping a grenade down Saddam's hidey hole and being done with it.)
According to some of our illustrious leaders, it seems the story has changed and they are saying that they did indeed find WMD.
I can't get excited about it for several reasons.
1) If they found weapons of mass destruction, that means they really were STILL there. How much of this sh*t did Saddam really ship off? Seeing as we gave him years to hide it, what with all the useless resolutions and stuff. And he still failed to get it all out? Saddam strikes me as many things, but retarded isn't one of them. He certainly must have had quite a little stockade.(Question to ask... where are they NOW!!!!!)
2) Rick Santorum.... I trust him as far as I can throw Al Gore. Which is, unfortunately, not very far. What with my bad back and all. I'll wait until conclusive proof has been brought forth, thanks.
3) Other than showing the stupid lefty idiots who call terrorists "freedom fighters" and would all probably adopt Saddam, that Bush didn't lie.... why now? Timing seems incredibly convenient(Elections).
Besides, one can hardly be excited to realize that all he left behind was 500+ sarin/mustard gas weapons, when anyone capable of rational though realizes he had so much more. What I want to know, is not what he left behind, but what he did with the rest of it.
And personally, getting excited about finding WMD just doesn't do it for me. I never thought Saddam had jack sh*t to do with 9/11. I thought he was a SICK a-hole. I thought he sponsored terrorism, which he did. ($25,000, blow up a falafel shop!!!) And I believe, even now, that he is one of the most sadistic f-ed up individuals to ever walk the earth. That we used him as a tool years ago against Iran comes as no shock, when dealing with scum, you use scum.
But, I know he had WMD, so it's no big surprise. I'm only a bit surprised we found them. I'd have though psycho would have been well rid of them all.
