Islamberg: Redux

Oooohhhh, looks like the MSM has finally noticed our very own little terrorists training camp up in New York. Took 'em long enough.

"Hidden in a remote area off a primitive dirt road lies a mysterious 70-acre compound in which more than 100 Muslims live in seclusion, following the teachings of its founder, a radical cleric with alleged ties to terrorism."

This was brought to my attention a couple of months ago.

"If you visit the compound's entry gate, you will be stopped at a guard shack by men armed with guns. And some say that you sometimes can hear gunfire or even explosions coming from the area." Yeah see we've got gated communities here in So. Cal but we forgo the whole armed men thing.

Now this Fox News story attempts to put a shiny little light on this....I BEG TO DIFFER.

In a report by Paul Williams, there seems to be something decidedly "fishy" happening up there in jihad land. "Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives. None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of "retaliation."

"Islamberg is a branch of Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt organization formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani. Gilani, has been directly linked by court documents to Jamaat ul-Fuqra or "community of the impoverished," an organization that seeks to "purify" Islam through violence."

No way can you polish this turd. No matter how hard Fox News tries.
