Bill served in the U.S. Army as a signalman and infantryman from March 1991 to December 1995 and in the New Jersey National Guard from January 1995 to March 1997. He currently writes at his web log, The Fourth Rail. His articles have been published in The Weekly Standard, The National Review, The New York Post, Die Weltwoche and the The Toronto Times. Bill's embed in Iraq was also the topic of discussion at the Washington Post.
