"The "survival of the world" is at stake if Muslims and Christians do not make peace with each other, leaders of the Muslim world will warn the Pope and other Christian leaders today.
In an unprecedented open letter signed by 138 leading scholars from every sect of Islam, the Muslims plead with Christian leaders "to come together with us on the common essentials of our two religions" and spell out the similarities between passages of the Bible and the Koran.
Uh, yeah.....Hey guys, how about writing a letter to the followers of your faith first and get them to stop slicing off heads and blowing shit up. I mean it's just a suggestion, but if that stopped I am sure we could you know, like "come together".

The words of the cartoon character's prayer adorn four missiles aimed at the American plane. These are his wishes:
"Allah, scatter them!! And turn their wives into widows!! And turn their children into orphans!! And give us victory over them!!"
Now that sounds pretty peaceful to me.
