American Textbooks Inaccurate?

Over in England and other places we're seeing revisionist history books, but here in American? Apparently so.

Authors Warn That Many Textbooks Distort Religion....Doesn't matter if you like it or not, it's part of history.

I know here in California for example, text books were totally ignoring Islam and it's ties to 9/11. If you don't teach HISTORY as it actually occurred there is a much higher likelihood of repeating it.
