Another Fake Race Incident By A Minority

I live about 1.4 miles from the UCSD campus and walk there almost every day. It's not a very diverse campus at all. It's majority is made up of Asian students. 2 weeks ago a few of these kids threw an OFF CAMPUS party dubbed the "Compton Cookout" which asked people to show up dressed in the same black stereotypes perpetrated by blacks in rap videos. A couple black students got wind of it...then a student TV station called them all "ungrateful n*ggers", (the guy was an Armenian) and got all the TV stations shut down and the black student union has issued a list of something like 40 DEMANDS and the school is in upheaval and blah, blah, blah. Then they found the noose hanging in the library and all hell broke loose. As soon as the noose story leaked, I said to one of my co-workers, who attends school there...."just watch, it's a set up...."

"The UC San Diego student reportedly responsible for hanging a noose last week in a campus library issued a public, but anonymous, apology Monday and said she had no racist motivation.

The noose's discovery set off protests at a school that is already tense from recent racially charged episodes and triggered condemnations from UC leaders and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In a letter published Monday on the front page of the UC San Diego student newspaper, the Guardian, the student wrote that the incident was "a mindless act and stupid mistake" and was not meant to recall the lynching of blacks.

"As a minority student who sympathizes with the students that have been affected by the recent issues on campus, I am distraught to know that I have unintentionally added to their pain," the student wrote. She was suspended Friday and remains under investigation for a possible hate crime."

I really hate being right all the time.

This incident, which has now garnered NATIONAL attention is indicative of the end result of the teachings of Politically Correct Bullshit. The school has set itself up for failure by not nipping this in the bud as soon as it started. All it needed to do was say that the party was off campus, therefor had nothing to do with them. Instead, now, in the name of PCBS they have created a monster that seems never ending, they capitulated to many of the demands of the black student union, most of which were ridiculous. They have held sophomoric "teach-ins", that the students have only used as a platform to push their freedom of speech stifling message.
