Two stories jumped out at me tonight.
This one:
"Nine passengers aboard a plane at Dulles International Airport were removed before takeoff due to a comment made to a crew member Sunday night, a United Airlines spokeswoman said."The story has zero other information. But in the comment section, to which I can give no REAL credence was this:
"Okay, here's an explanation of what happened from a friend was actually on the flight. I honestly am a personal friend of this girl, she posted a comment on Facebook about how scary this situation was for her, and she linked to this less than informative CNN article. When asked about what really happened, this is what she had to say: "Ok so the flight attendant was walking to the back of the plane and said she was on a mission. the Iranian guy said to her.. "this could be your last mission." one hour goes by, we are still on the plane and cop cars drive up around the plane. they ran a background check on the guy, turns out he had a list of known affiliates and 8 of them just so happened to be scattered on the plane. they escorted all 9 Iranian middle aged men off the plane. we had to go through our carry-ons to make sure they didn't leave anything behind. then they had to go through all the luggage under the plane. it was horrible."Interesting.
Then there was this one:
"Two men taken off a Chicago-to-Amsterdam United Airlines flight in the Netherlands have been charged by Dutch police with "preparation of a terrorist attack," U.S. law enforcement officials tell ABC News."Reading this story will almost make you vomit. These guys put luggage on one flight, took another. They had knives, weird cell phone things taped to bottles, watches taped together. I mean some weird ass shit. And they got through on flights not once, but twice and fled the country.
Sorry OBAMA but I do NOT feel safer.
