Ooohhhhh, Love that Consumer confidence!

I woke up this morning, seemingly recovered from my Turkey/Booze/Football coma, and did the bravest thing any slightly sane person could do.

I went shopping. And from the looks of things,so did 99% of San Diego.

The Liberals would have us believe that the economy is in the hole, and we are going to hell in a hand basket. My eyes tell me otherwise.

The stores were JAM PACKED!!! With festive (well, not really people are assh*les when looking for a bargain), holiday shoppers....I sh*t you not when I say they were literally grabbing things willy nilly from the shelves, some with 2,even 3 carts.

First guess I've heard is the poor depression era people of America have been so battered by the crap economy, that consumer spending is up only 6%. Hey, I worked retail in the past, 6%= : )

(Updated:11/26/05 According to Visa, holiday shoppers for Black Friday are so bummed out by this "slow" economy, that spending was only up 14%. Oh, and the period from 10/28-11/25 was only up a mere 17%......yup, you Libbies are right, looks like we're in the sh*tter.)

Get over it Libbies..... It's all good.
