"A recent incident at the elementary school on the Grambling State University campus that resulted in a noose hanging around a small child's neck has left university officials scrambling for answers.

kindergarten and first-grade students at Alma J. Brown Elementary will always remember the day they marched for equality. The children marched in protest of the imprisonment of Mychal Bell, and the seemingly racial bias shown toward blacks in a small Louisiana town."

LaGrande wrote that while the students "marched," they actually only circled their playground with their teachers during the event.

"Before marching, the students were taught about racism," LeGrande wrote. "They also learned about the events surrounding the 'Jena Six' and their arrest."

According to the article, teachers had a replica noose and explained why it is such a symbol of racism. They also allowed the children to carry chains and shackles.

The Gramblinite's Web site Friday included a comment from a woman who identified herself as Irene Booker. She said in her posted comment, "Yes, it was a rope around the little girl's neck. It was a (safe) demonstration as to what the rope symbolized to blacks."

Show of hands people: Who thinks this little girl will have a twisted view of whites.

"This afternoon we received a call from a viewer who said a business near downtown Reno was flying a Mexican flag above an American flag... which is in fact illegal.

This, after photos and comments about the flag were posted on Craigslist this morning. When we were able to have a photographer go and check everything out we found the story to be true."

So apparently a Vet climbed up there and took a knife out cut it down. Here are some comments:

I support the veteran who removed the American flag with his knife.
They don't deserve to get it back after illegally placing the Mexican flag above ours. If charges are brought against the veteran for theft, I anticipate a firestorm of protest.

I was so happy that someone finally decided to stand up for Americans. The way the hispanic community disgraces our flag is horrible.
Next time they decide to march at the federal building make sure immigation is there, because it's only the illegals that demonstrate.

The gentlemen who took down the mexican flag should be honored for his patriotism and protecting our flag which was being used illegally. The owner of the bar who claims to be a citizen prefers mexico to America by his actions.
Maybe he needs to have his status checked and if here illegally, deported. Then your followup story had to do with more mexicans protesting.
To hell with them, close the border and finally build the fence that GW promised and has funded.

"Police in insurgency-wracked southern Thailand said Tuesday that mobile phones seized from an attack site contain video clips showing suspected insurgents beheading their victims and in one case, cutting off a soldier's sex organ.

Investigators found two mobile phones in a bag left behind in an area of Yala province where suspected insurgents killed a police officer over the weekend, said police Col. Sompien Eksomya from Yala's Bannang Star district, where the attack occurred.

"We sent the SIM cards to be checked out and found gruesome video clips," he said by telephone.

One video clip taken Jan. 2, 2006 showed a suspected insurgent beheading a soldier, then severing his penis and laughing with the person taking the video, Sompien said.

The second clip was made on May 14 of this year, showing the beheading of a Buddhist man after he and his wife were shot. A third video clip filmed June 15 shows the bullet-ridden bodies of seven soldiers." More here.....

Screw Oakland

Apparently the disease that has infected San Franfeckistan has spread across the Bay to Oakland.

In short: “On September 27th, 204 Marines and soldiers who were returning from Iraq were not allowed into the passenger terminal at Oakland International Airport. Instead they had to deplane about 400 yards away from the terminal where the extra baggage trailers were located. This was the last scheduled stop for fuel and food prior to flying to Hawaii where both were based. The trip started in Kuwait on September 26th with a rigorous search of checked and carry on baggage by US Customs. All baggage was x-rayed with a ‘backscatter’ machine AND each bag was completely emptied and hand searched. After being searched, checked bags were marked and immediately placed in a secure container. Carry on bags were then x rayed again to ensure no contraband items were taken on the plane. While waiting for the bus to the airport, all personnel were in quarantined in a fenced area and were not allowed to leave.” Nevertheless, Oakland forbade them from entering its terminal. According to the Marine, a Lieutenant who served in Afghanistan with the same unit in 2006 noted that Oakland had treated troops the same way before. He “was almost arrested by the TSA for getting belligerent about them not letting the Marines into the terminal,” despite more rigorous screening prior to landing in Oakland. Both JFK airport and in Germany had no problem with the Marines entering their terminals.

How Dare Harry Reid Say A Damn Thing

The more I read on this Limbaugh-Reid tiff the more absolutely disgusted I get. Reid "urged his colleagues — both Democratic and Republican — to sign a letter of disapproval to the CEO of Clear Channel."

How transparent the left has become. They, by proxy through MoveOn.org, one of the most vile anti-American groups to ever exist, spit on a 4 STAR GENERAL. Then the punk ass bitches were called on it. And they were SERVED.

Now, because they are soooooooooooo desperate to "even the score" they are trying to fabricate a story against what I assume is one of the more prominent "right" sided radio talk show hosts. I don't know, I don't listen to his show.

Here's the part of Rush's show in question:

Now, calling a soldier who served and fought with honor and now disagrees with the war for some reason, a "phony soldier", is of course not PC(not that I give a shit about being PC). But they were talking about the Jesse MacBeth, the epitome of a phony soldier. Whom the left embraced without once checking his dodgy credentials.

Jesse MacBeth as reported here sometime ago was a shill for the Shehag/Moveon/Reid/Pelosi-left in this country. He was a lying sack of shit who purposefully set out to smear and stain the reputation of our men and women in uniform.

I may start listening to Rush... can someone tell me when he's on.. because I couldn't say it better than this:

He was sentenced to five months in jail and three years probation for falsifying a Department of Veterans Affairs claim and his Army discharge record. He was in the Army. Jesse MacBeth was in the Army, folks, briefly. Forty-four days before he washed out of boot camp. Jesse MacBeth isn't an Army Ranger, never was. He isn't a corporal, never was. He never won the Purple Heart, and he was never in combat to witness the horrors he claimed to have seen. You probably haven't even heard about this. And, if you have, you haven't heard much about it. This doesn't fit the narrative and the template in the Drive-By Media and the Democrat Party as to who is a genuine war hero. Don't look for any retractions, by the way. Not from the anti-war left, the anti-military Drive-By Media, or the Arabic websites that spread Jesse MacBeth's lies about our troops, because the truth for the left is fiction that serves their purpose. They have to lie about such atrocities because they can't find any that fit the template of the way they see the US military. In other words, for the American anti-war left, the greatest inconvenience they face is the truth."

Jihad In Austria

"A man caught with a backpack containing explosives, nails and Islamic literature has been arrested after trying to enter the US Embassy in Austria, police say.

The suspect - described as a 42-year-old Bosnian who now lives in the province of Lower Austria, which encircles the capital.

A police spokeswoman said: "There were a lot of nails in that bag. Had it exploded, it would have had an enormous shrapnel effect.

She said the explosives resembled hand grenades and experts are working to determine whether the device had been rigged to explode.

The nature of the Islamic material remains unclear."

Call me shocked to the core, this guy tried to go into the US Embassy, with grenades and a bag full of nails to bring about maximum carnage. And he had Islamic literature. No way??!!!??? It can't be, Islam is the religion of peace!
