News is coming out that the judge down in Arizona has blocked parts, the parts that make it effective, of SB 1070. Oh well and here I thought the constitution allowed for the states to have rights.

"The overall law will still take effect Thursday, but without the provisions that angered opponents — including sections that required officers to check a person's immigration status while enforcing other laws.

The judge also put on hold parts of the law that required immigrants to carry their papers at all times, and made it illegal for undocumented workers to solicit employment in public places."

According to reports, Chelsea Clinton's wedding will cost about 5 MILLION+ dollars to put on. Her dress alone running upwards to $25,000. Guests will be treated to portable toilets sporting porcelain bowls and marble counter tops and hot running water. The cake is rumored to cost almost $12,000. For a cake. The tents and other structures being erected cost half a million dollars and each table will have about $3,000 worth of flowers on them. I could go on but you get the point.

Here we are in the worst depression since the GREAT Depression. People are losing their homes, their cars, their jobs. Unemployment gets worse daily. We are still being effected by the worst environmental disaster to ever occur in the US. We are at war.

And what do the Democrats do? They golf (Obama has played at least 41 rounds of golf as of July 16th), they throw lavish star studded parties at The White House and let's not forget the cost of the numerous vacations in glitzy resorts and getaways(not simply going home to work at, say a ranch.)

I am not saying the Clinton's don't have a right to spend their own money as the see fit, but it just shows how completely out of touch with humanity these people are. I wish Horse Face Jr. and her groom the best of luck.

Thomas More Society attorney Peter Breen entered a "not guilty" plea in court Tuesday morning on behalf of Joseph Holland, who was charged with disorderly conduct.

Holland, a Northwestern University graduate student, was praying the rosary on a public sidewalk outside the Planned Parenthood Near North abortion facility on July 3 when staff called the police, claiming that he had violated the new ordinance.

The "Bubble Zone" ordinance prohibits approaching within eight feet of a person without their consent "for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education, or counseling."

The law establishes a 50-foot buffer outside the entrances of abortion centers and, within that zone, no one can come within an 8-foot zone to distribute literature, counsel or display a sign.

According to witnesses and video taken of the incident, Holland was engaged solely in prayer activity and not in leafleting, picketing or "sidewalk counseling."

So he was just there...and was arrested.

Some paraplegic guy who is apparently a HUGE fan of burrito's has seen fit to sue Chipotle Mexican Grill because they failed to give him the "Chipotle Experience".

I can't make this stuff up. "Antoninetti still wishes to enjoy the "Chipotle experience"—seeing all the ingredients on display and watching his burrito assembled and rolled—quickly and without inconveniencing employees or other customers."

Here's the thing I don't see mentioned anywhere in the lawsuit...he can order his burrito online and see pictures of all the ingredients and what they look like etc.

Here's another thought....stop going to Chipotle and go elsewhere. Idiot. On a side note, the Burrito Bowls at Chipotle are DA BOMB.

Through a fog of pain yesterday(I am currently bedridden, threw my back out badly), I watched as The White House and it's people bent over backwards to apologize to a woman for no reason at all. Shirley Sherrod is a racist. Her comments in the controversial clip and throughout her career were all clearly anti white and hate filled.

During the clip as she is speaking before the NAACP when she talks about how she screwed whitey the people in the audience cheered her. And she laughed at that. She smiled at that.

In fact even today as I watch this woman on the Early Show, all she's talking about is how she is thinking of suing and the poor Latino, black and woman farmers. Should she have been fired? Maybe. What was her job performance like otherwise? She openly admitted to NOT DOING HER JOB, which in my book is grounds for termination. Even if she DID in fact use the experience as a "teachable moment".

What's most pathetic here is that ONCE AGAIN this administration acted before it knew all the facts. It's Beer Summit 2.0.
