Last time I checked American wasn't a socialist country, nor was it a welfare state (not completely anyway), nor did we have "civilian armies", nor did we sit down with mass murdering dictators over tea and scones and no pre-conditions. Everyone knows that over the past 8 years, longer really, the GOP has moved away from it's core values and become a wishy washy version of it's former self.So what do we do about it? Well some people who call themselves Republicans or "conservatives" think we should send 'em a message! Vote Obama '08.

I was reading the comments on a Jonestown Juice sucking Obama site and found a response to a comment I had made there a week ago. Here's part of it:

"You seem to think that a vote for Obama must be predicated on making a positive case for him. That may be rules of the game you and Darwin are playing but it certainly doesn’t have to be the rules that Radley Balko or I play by. While Radley may be voting for Obama where I am not, he and I share the same principle: a complete repudiation of the GOP. Let it burn I say.

Write all the facts you want about McCain and Obama. Duly noted. However, it’s about time you stopped hiding behind them and predicating your entire argument on facts because you are woefully, woefully short on defending principles. The fact that the libtards suck may be correct but you have never made a convincing case for the conservative movement."

My response:
1) A vote for Obama is, in fact,making a positive case for him. You are giving him your support and your vote to become the next President of the United States. In fact voting for him is the ONLY support he wants from you.

2) Repudiating the GOP by electing the most far left radical extremist candidate to ever run on the Democratic ticket; one who lacks any experience, one who's campaign is run by Naziesque goon squads and one who's own VP seems to be in the dark about his intentions, is not a repudiation, it's like breaking your own leg just to see if it hurts.

3) One cannot hide behind facts. Facts are the quintessential essence of openness, of truth, justice and the American way.

As for making the case for the "conservative movement". Well that's easy. I'm not a conservative, I'm a Republican.

And I fail how I have been "woefully, woefully short" on defending Republican principals. I have made it clear that McCain was a poor choice, that I am against federal government intervention in cases like Terri Shiavo; that abortion should be a states rights issue as well as gay marriage. I have squealed like a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs that I want a government that is limited, non-interventionist and decentralized. I have spoken so many times, I sound like a broken record, that being a Republican is about personal responsibility. I've pleaded for fiscal restraint, the end of useless social programs and f-ed up regulations that screw with free trade. And I have acknowledged that being Republican for the last decade has meant trying to appease the moderate voter and that we have strayed from our core principals.

As it pertains to this upcoming election, and people like the commenter who tried to take me to task above, I get what you are saying. McCain is a moderate at best, in fact I would call him a conservative Democrat, maybe a moderate Republican? He has abandoned the party and shown that he in fact is the one who is "woefully, woefully short" on standing in good stead with the party that placed him on the ticket. On that, we agree.

That being said, these "teach them Repub-lite bastages a lesson" types out there who somehow think that electing a Messiah-like junior senator from the state which is home to the murder capital of our country is a "repudiation of the GOP" are delusional.

You do not elect a man who's friends, mentors and spiritual leaders are all anti-AmeriKKK-an whack jobs. You do not elect a man who's idea of free speech is telling people what to say, and if you fail to parrot him, you are punished. You do not elect a man who's campaign is so entrenched in various criminal dealings they need thousands of lawyers to quell the flow. You do not elect a man whose own VP candidate acknowledges he is not ready to lead. Ad infinitum.

Point is.....You do not elect a man who fails the litmus test on EVERY SINGLE CORE REPUBLICAN value, just to send a message. That's nothing more than cutting your nose off to spite your face.

So what do we do? Those of us who are frustrated, mad, angry that our party has abandoned us. Well, I'll tell you what you don't do, you don't elect a flaming radical leftist nut job into office to send a message.

You elect the Republican-lite and you send HIM a strong message, do it our way or it's the highway. He listens, we can work toward healing our troubled party. He doesn't and we WILL be moving to, at minimum, a three party system and "Republican" as it once was will cease to exist. Elect Obama and it's over. You haven't accomplished anything other than voting for an elitist megalomaniacal man with a Jesus complex.

I found this article by Oliver North this morning and I really dug it. He was talking about Michael Bloomberg "citing the current "economic crisis," insisting that "he should have a third stint in office."

It made me think. Last night on the show I brought up the same thing. I wondered, when an elected President would do the same thing. "Hey, we're in a bad place you need me for 4 more years." Then 4 more...and then and then....

Here's what Ollie says:

"During Wednesday afternoon's rush hour, I was making my way home on the "Dulles Greenway" when a phalanx of police motorcycles and cruisers stopped all traffic and ordered us to pull our vehicles off the highway onto the shoulders. Instantly, hundreds of people were out of their cars. Directly in front of me a group of supporters — evident by their bumper-stickers — jumped out with cameras, cell-phones and banners. The shouting only intensified as the candidate and his entourage — motorcycles, police cars, black Secret Service Suburbans and busses — roared past us.

Can one imagine "Saturday Night Live" doing weekly send-ups of Michelle Obama and her "I've never been proud" of my country, this "just downright mean" America, using a black comedienne to mimic and mock her voice and accent?

"Saturday Night Live" would be facing hate-crime charges.

How do we know? When the New Yorker ran a cartoon of Michelle in an Angela-Davis afro with an AK-47 slung over her shoulder, New Yorker editors had to go on national television to swear they were not mocking Michelle, but the conservatives who have so caricatured Michelle and the Messiah.

Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment."

Because of this non-comment, all week long the media has been in a Republican hating frenzy screaming that the right has GONE TOO FAR!!!! The only people that have gone to far are the blind cultish followers of Barack Hussein Obama. That of course includes the media.

My letter to the editor in response to E.J. Dionne Jr.'s editorial,"The re-emergence of the far right." (San Diego Union Tribune/Washington Post 10/14/08)

The opinion piece by E.J. DIONNE JR. regarding the supposed re-emergence of a lunatic far right made me laugh. I wonder where E.J. has been for the last 8 years while the left in this country have burned effigies of Bush and Cheney while dancing about in drum circles and spewing verbal sewage at troops who work at military recruitment centers. That's when they are not setting up camp in Crawford Texas to harass President Bush, his family and everyone who lives within 50 miles. Slashing tires, throwing pies, advocating assassination, throwing maltov cocktails at people's homes, bodily harm, assaulting police officers, stalking, fake cries of racism. Let's not forget the "peace protesting" they do that often results in veterans being spat upon. I have personally been harassed, bullied and threatened with psychical violence over the years for showing my support for the GOP.

E.J. then goes on to defend Barack Obama's relationship with Ayers, as much of the mainstream media has. If Ayers were the only dirty sock in Obama's laundry basket of bottom dwellers I guess giving him a pass on one terrorist friend would be permissible (HAH). But the guy has an army of lost left socks behind him each worse that the one before. Rezko, Ayers, Pfleger, Wright, Davis....I could go on and on.

Maybe the reason the elitist lefty media is suddenly stunned by masses of "Angry Republicans", is because we're finally angry enough that we're not going to take their candidate protectionism anymore. Barack Obama is the least qualified candidate to ever run for the presidency. His "community organizer" days left scores of people still living in ramshackle asbestos laden ghettos. His grandiose foreign and domestic policies read like a socialist's fantasy. And it's clear he lacks any kind of judgment in picking friends and close advisers, so I can't imagine why we'd want him picking supreme court justices. Not to mention his time working with ACORN which is now under investigation in over 10 states for rampant voter fraud. And let's not forget HIS party is the party of the lowest rated most thoroughly corrupt and worthless Congress in American history.

You bet your bottom dollar we on the right are mad and we're not going to take it anymore.

It seems listing the 500,000,000 reason's not to vote for Obama just isn't enough for the likes of some. So, here are the reasons why McCain is more qualified to run this country than Barack Hussien Obama, the socialist, Soros owned tool.

1) John McCain has actually done his job as a Senator over the years. He in fact even voted yes or no on occasion rather than "present" and I do believe he's never had an accidental button pushing incident as our friend Barry has on several occasion after the bad press rolled in.

2) McCain would never tell the world/our enemies what we are expanding or reducing on the military front.

3) McCain is against promoting failing students just to get 'em out of school. And supports school choice, including homeschooling.

4) McCain has shown that he is able to reach across the aisle when necessary to achieve results.

5) His response to the Israel/Lebanon conflict on '06.

6) According to the first debate, Obama agrees with McCain on just about everything, except McCain comes without all the radical POS Moonbat baggage.

7) McCain's education plan puts more emphasis on training teachers and making parents and schools accountable for education, rather than throwing money at the system through more socialist programs.

8) McCain's health plan would give health insurance coverage to 27.5 million uninsured Americans, more than half of the 47 million uninsured. McCain's plan covers TWO million more uninsured Americans than the Obama plan. Keeping the plans wholly nongovernmental. And not hurting small businesses.

9) McCain's energy plan is actually realistic (unlike "that one's"), less cost intensive and employs competition and capitalism rather than just more federal spending and use of the strategic oil preserve.

10)McCain's Homeland Security plans are much more comprehensive. And the fact that he hasn't announced his plans to invade Pakistan or "slow our development of future combat systems” or "cut investments in unproven missile defense systems." Like, "that one" is more reassuring. McCain was on of the people solidly behind the successful surge in Iraq.

11) McCain/Palin may possibly overturn Roe V. Wade and throw abortion rights back where they belong, to the states.

12) Even naked gay guys love John McCain.

13) McCain doesn't feel the need to employ goon like "truth squads" to squelch differing opinions.

14) He's a PORK BUSTER! Hands down.

15) He opposed the Bush tax cuts.... ONLY because the bills contained no spending cuts or caps. Look at his past record. He has supported every tax cut that came down the road. His record on cutting spending is also very good.

16)Generally positive track record on tort reform.

17) In 2007-2008 National Federation of Independent Business gave Senator McCain a rating of 100 in its 110th (2007-2008) Pre-Election Congressional Report.

18) The ACLU hates him.

19) McCain actually GETS the fact that we are at war with Islam. His desire for precondition's before meeting with thugs like Ahmadinejad mirror Reagan, who himself did not meet with anyone from Russia until Gorbachev came along.

20) He's NOT endorsed by crazed hateful anti-Ameri-KKK-A hating radicals and commie nut jobs.

21)THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE-------HE IS NOT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Period.

THE LEFT are the ones burning President Bush in effigy, making movies about his assassination, advocating his assassination, calling for his and Cheney's lynching.

THE LEFT are the ones threatening to kick a Vice Presidential candidates ass (Madonna) or have her "raped by her black brothers"(Sandra Bernhard).

The LEFT are the ones with websites like the one dedicated to making fun of Trig, Gov. Palin's few month old down syndrome child. Or advocating aborting her. Taking on her 17 year old daughter. Threatening to shoot Gov. Palin.

THE LEFT are the one indoctrinating their children into their cult of hatred, in fact telling their children to kill the President.

The Left are the ones barging into GOP offices and punching out officials, slashing tires, throwing pies, assaulting police officers, committing property damage, bodily harm, throwing maltov cocktails at people's homes, felony theft, stalking, even attempted murder.

THE LEFT are like this....."What I've written on this site about Palin so far has been pretty restrained, considering what I feel for her privately could be described as violent, nay, murderous, rage. Apparently a right wing movie coming out of Hollyweird is just more than the leftist jackboots can stand. Looks like there are widespread reports of fraud.

Reports include:

• Theaters listing the movie as R rated (its true rating is PG-13).

• Posters for the film are not visible inside or outside the theaters.

• An American Carol is not on the marquee, even though the movie is playing there.

• The film title not listed behind the clerk in the box office, so you have to ask if that movie is playing at that theater, never mind that you checked on the internet and called in advance.

• Show times are given on the theater's outgoing message machine for every movie playing except for An American Carol.

• Technical oddities: image or focus issues, problems with sound, and the like.

Wow. I see the future and it is bleak.

On Saturday night I was on Blog Talk Radio doing a kind of "for the fun of it" show when Saturday Night Live came on.

Halfway into the show I interrupted the phone conversation to tell everyone that OMG!!!!! SNL was ACTUALLY skewering George Soro's, Barney Frank, Nancy pelosi and pretty much the entire leftist Congress for their part in the the sub-prime crisis. It was an incredible skit. For the first time in as long as I could remember, a funny skit actually held the truth.

We were all amazed as I held the phone up to the TV to listen to the skit.

So... This morning I thought I would put it on here on the blog to share with those of you who missed it.

Barack Obama is NOW claiming he had no clue William Ayers was a terrorist.

We just had a new neighbor move in 2 weeks ago; 4 doors down and one building over. His name is Bob*, he just moved here from UTC, where most of his family lives, including 2 grandchildren. He has a dog named Alpha* who is an Akita mix that he left with his family because he was concerned that living here with no yard would be to tough of an adjustment for poor old Alpha. He smokes cigars, like to BBQ, drives a Toyota Tacoma, favors Hawaiian shirts and clearly has allergies as he sneezes all the time. He hates shopping at Raphs and will drive all the way back over to UTC to shop at Henry's, because he says they have the best meat.

Barry the Clueless had no idea a man he served on two boards with, launched his political career in the house of, lived a few blocks away from and partied in the same circles with for several years was an unrepentant terrorist? And somehow I am supposed to take him seriously as a contender for the Presidency? I don't think so.

I'm sure he has no clue either that ACORN is fraudulently registering dead people, Dallas Cowboys and dogs.

6:13- Palin comes back... 94 times Obama supported tax increases. It's about jobs. Government is going to have to live with less. Biden says she is totally NOT correct. John McCain voted the same. 477 times. Biden is hammering her on NOT answering the question on deregulation.

6:15- She hammers back saying I will answer how I like.

6:16- Question (Gwen attacks Palin on taxes in her "question")-About taxes. No one making less than $250,000 people will not see any tax increase. 95% of the people will get a tax break??? Biden is back on the business tax cuts.

6:17-Palin comes back...she reminds him about small businesses. They will be effected. Palin: It's NOT patriotic to pay more taxes. Slap slap!!! Take that Biden. $5,000 tax credit from McCain. Calls Obama's plan universal health care.

6:20- Oh there goes Biden on the evil oil companies. Again with the 95% number. Man 95% is the magic number in Biden land. 20 million people will be dropped? From their health care. Ultimate Bridge to Nowhere. Audience reacted, nothing from Gwen to shut them up.

6:22- What will you hold up on after the bailout....Biden lists, like Obama all the things he will NOT "slow up on". Still not answering the question. Eliminate wasteful spending.

6:23- Energy plan Obama voted for that gave the money to the oil companies.Palin: In Alaska I had to take them on. I broke up a monopoly. I took on the oil companies. Barack gave the tax breaks and she had to undo his tax increases. Palin doesn't answer directly but what she is saying alone would cut money.

6:26- Biden actually SAYS he and Obama want to do what Palin did??? OMG he did. Basically saying she did it right.

6:27- Question on bankruptcy and making it harder for people to file for it. Neither is answering it. Biden is talking about how Obama and he differed, again. McCain was surprised by the sub prime. Biden advocates making mortgage companies to adjust rates.

6:30- Plain needs to answer the questions. She keeps going back and not answering the current question. And go's back. Ugggg!!!

6:31- Question on Global Warming.. I don't want to argue on the causes, I want to clean up this planet. Not a great answer. I'd have liked to see her say there is no global warming screw Algoracle. All of the above approach, conservation.

6:33- Biden comes out and says.. IT IS MANMADE. If you don't understand what the cause is...you cannot come up with a solution. Biden claims his words were twisted on clean coal. Biden has the numbers.

Palin calls on Biden for his comment on raping the coastline by drilling off shore. Both agree on capping carbon emissions.

6:37- Same sex benefits for same sex. Biden: Absolutely. Same sex couples as the constitution calls for get the same rights as all.

6:38- Palin says she has no issue with same sex couple. She is tolerant. But we should not redefine marriage. Basically same as Biden. Just no on marriage. Biden says that he and Obama do not support gay marriage. So their answer is the same. They agree.

6:40- Foreign policy. Both of you have sons going to Iraq. Palin: The surge has worked. Obama voted against and Biden slapped Obama. She called him in that. He can't argue with that. Grow out military. We need to not QUIT.

6:42- 16 month withdrawl. That's the plan. Biden calls Palin on McCain not voting for the money for the troops because of the time line. 16 months. Period. For John McCain there is NO end in sight.

Plain: Your plan is a white flag of surrender in Iraq. The plan will come together when the commanders tell us the conditions on the ground are met. Pain brings up how Biden says he would love to run with McCain on the same ticket.

6:45- Which is the gravest threat Pakistan or a nuclear Iran? Biden says Iran is NOT close to getting a nuke... what does he know that we don't? Help Pakistan? Do they need out help? Do they want it....we need to win the hearts and minds in Pakistan.

6:47- Plain- Petreus and Al Quaeda decided Iraq was the central focus in the war on terror. Plain takes a hard stance on Iran and Ahmadinejad. Brings up the meeting with no preconditions. She says that Obama is naive. Good point. These dictators can not be met with sitting down on a Presidential level, diplomacy is Important. Not meeting with the President with no preconditions.

6:53- Biden says this administration has failed in foreign policy. Biden is the biggest friend of Israel. It is Bush's fault that Hamas and Hezbollah are in power. Bush's polices are an "abject failure." Plain says she is happy that her and Biden are both friends of Israel.

6:56- Palin: There is too much finger pointing to the past for a campaign that runs on change. Put partisanship aside. Biden: How is McCain going to be different than George Bush's. He's all over George Bush. He is the same. "We will make signifigant changes so once again we are respected in the world."

6:59: Palin: We need to make sure we are putting sanctions on these countries and work together so these countries do not aquire nukes. Palin: Obama said all we are doing is air raiding villages... that is NOT what we are doing.

Biden: The surge principal in Iraq WILL not work in Afghanistan. Our top general says according to Biden. I look forward to the fact checking on this debate. Can someone explain to me how we are supposed to act in Sudan...but not when Saddam was killing his own and paying terrorists? via twitter.

Palin calls her and Biden's jokes "lame". A litle uncomfortable.

7:18- Conventional wisdom. Palin brings up her experience, huge energy producing state, her governorship, her business acumen. She IS main stream middle class America. American IS the shining city on a hill. Democracy, freedom...

7:21- Biden: I have excessive passion.. I am not going to change. He says I am not going to change, he is who he is... then says he is for change.Biden is a man of the people...Home Depot, single dad, out of work, down on his luck. Is he about to cry???? He's talking about a kitchen table and he looks like he is going to cry. NO MORE OF THE SAME.

Palin brongs up how McCain has been taken on by the other side, he is change he has voted against his party...not sure I like that Palin... but it is a good point. He's NOT Bush.

7:25- Biden keeps repeating himself it's very aggressive in a bad way and turns me off. So basically McCain has voted against welfare.

7:27- Last question,"What view have you had to change?"

Biden: His take on judges. It matter what your judicial philosophy is.

Plain: I did not veto budgets. When she disagreed with the budget but didn't have the support. But she will not and has not compromised her beliefs.

Gwen: How do you change the tone in DC?

Biden: I have been able to work across the aisle. He says he does not question the motives, maybe the judgment of other senators.

Palin: You walk the walk not just talk the talk.

Palin closing statement: Thanks to all, good to debate and speak to the people. She digs at the media for,"telling people what was said." Palin-We are blessed.

Biden closing statement: Thanks to all. The last 8 years we have been dug into a hole.. Blame Bush... again. That is ALL they run on.

Sad. I don't know who won this one. What do you think?

Who Killed the Bill?
